DVArchive is great. I use it all the time to download shows to my computer, schedule recordings, and see my upcoming shows that are scheduled to record. I have tried to use the remote in DVArchive, but unless the computer is in the same room as the ReplayTV, it's kind of hard to use. I do like the idea about changing the channel or turning the ReplayTV off as a joke -- I'll have to try that the next time my wife is watching TV ...

There is a program called DVArchive that can be installed on a PC for extraction of your digital recorded programs. This also contains a very good remote control utility for controlling the replay. I use it to turn the replay off or change the channel while the kids are watching it as a joke.. HAHA Granted it's not as easy as a remote control but it works until you get your new remote from ReplayTV.

I have been using the URC MX 700 for 2 years with a ReplayTV 3060 & 4536 in the same wall unit. Replay specific files are available on www.remotecentral.com. All of the commands are present, laid out in an intuitive manner. There is one for 2 Replays in the same space.

There are smaller remotes that have Replay commands built in. Even Radio Shack has them
