Well, TiVo had made a last minute reprieve on the death sentence for lifetime subscriptions sign ups, albeit temporary. For an unknown reason, TiVo has decided to extend the date to get a lifetime subscription until April 15th. This means that you can get a lifetime subscription on any TiVo purchased between now and April 15th. You do have to call to activate your TiVo and get your lifetime subscription (it can’t be done on the unit itself), and you have to do this by April 15th.
